Mark Hanson doesn’t just talk about creating jobs. He has done it—as director of training for the Labor Council he created jobs and trained people to fill them.

Mark Hanson lost his home in the fires of 2003, but still formed a fire survivors group to help others. Mark saw the poor response of the government and the insurance companies which should have been there to help in that hour of need and instead in many cases blocked families’ efforts to rebuild.

Mark Hanson has long advocated for renewable energy and founded United Green to help create partnerships with companies to forge a future that not only looks out for the environment, but helps create jobs in the many new industries that will be required to make both our communities and our energy sources sustainable.
